Mental Health Days at MAF with AmeriCares | Resilience and Coping for Healthcare Providers
Along with our AmeriCares grant MAF receives free Mental Health trainings and resources for staff. These are crisis response group trainings and they can also provide individual support. The trainings are designed after a traumatic event, giving tools to best cope.

About the Support
Resilience and Coping for Healthcare Providers: This workshop is aimed at those who play the dual role of survivor and provider following a disaster. The training covers information about stress, trauma, healthy and unhealthy stress responses in the workplace and at home, and coping mechanisms, as well as providing resources on how to support patients and co-workers who are distressed.
